Rain Policy
Our policy is that is there is a high chance of rain or that it is raining when we head out in the morning, we will not work. Part of this is because it is often unpleasant to work in the rain but it is mainly because it is difficult to work in the rain. I think when it is raining or very wet out, we work at about 1/2 the rate we do otherwise. It is hard to bill someone for something that is taking twice as long as usual. If there is a hard deadline like a social event, we will work in the rain if we can. Otherwise we will return in your next scheduled slot. Sometimes we can squeeze someone in if there is a break in the schedule and a time constraint on the job. If it starts raining while we are working we will try to finish up what we are doing if it is not raining too hard or lightning.
